We are a couple of friends who has always played with a kiwifruit on our shoulders (Background: Circle, Foreground: Supernova). No we can’t do this anymore.
I think this is stupid to remove such things as certain emblems. I’ve seen I’m not the only one complaining about this either. I saw another thread yelling to get Phoenix back. Phoenix who has been in the Halo series since the emblems came in Halo 2. It is just wrong to take such an emblem away!
Please, for everyones sake, put the emblems we are all missing back in! :,(
Does anyone agree that they should have released all the emblems and backgrounds at the start of your “Spartan career”?
I have my one from all the other halo games (the sword and cowboy hat) and I have to wait until rank 30-40 to unlock it (although it won’t take me years to get).

They should introduce new ones and have them as unlocks like some of the armour but not the old ones.
There have been some emblems which I thought had been taken out, but the higher I get my SR rank, the more emblems I seem to be unlocking. Not sure if they’ll be there later on in ranks, but just a thought anyway, if not, I hope new emblems etc can be added along with map packs as dlc etc.
I can understand that they removed the Septagon cymbol as it is almost = Bungie. But I agree that you should have them all from the start. Even those who aren’t in the game right now. Please bring them back! If not atleast give us a good reason why they are gone.
The subnova emblem is gone, as well as the bullseye variant and the container background emblem.
Actually now that I think of it, a large amount of emblems are gone, even some that were in the RTX and PAX builds. I have a feeling 343i and Microsoft are going to use them as DLC in the coming months.
speaking of that where are the playing card symbol emblems? i’ve been rocking my band of brothers inspired Ace of Spades emblem since Halo 3 and i was really disappointed/angry to not see it return for Halo 4, it’s little things like that i think that are ticking off the community and that 343 should have had the sense to keep around
343 trying to be different with their new sucky emblems, the Supernova has always been my emblem since Halo 3 (Since it wasn’t in Halo 2), and then 343 decides to remove it for no reason, it’s not like they take too much space, and to apply salt to the wound, they make emblems unlockable -_- They even modified some emblems into crappy ones like the Unicorn, they made it into an ugly horse, just so they could put their own version of the Unicorn, i can’t understand 343 sometimes
