I booted into MCC to get some audio log achievements, and when I got into Mombasa Streets, it said I had a cache available.

When I got there, I was welcomed by ammo lockers, grenades, and two mongooses. (Mongeese?)

Was this always in the game or added later as a bonus?

Is it only after you unlock x amount of logs? I never encountered it on my first playthrough on the 360.

No I think it’s after you get to a certain point in the story.

pretty sure you gotta do all of the mombasa objectives and possibly finish the campaign so that can happen
