I was wondering if anyone has their assassination set to Super Nova. Mine doesn’t seem to be working any longer. I know the animation doesn’t work if you’re in close quarters but I’ve assassinated in an open area and just get a generic assassination, knife in the back. Has anyone noticed this problem?
Here’s an example.
You may not know about this, but some assassinations need plenty of room in order for them to be completed. Supernova covers a huge amount of space since you’re spinning the poor guy in a circle before hurling them away, therefore you need to be in an open area to do it. Being in a tight space will cause you to do the default assassinations because you don’t have enough room.
Think of it as playing Wii Sports (Resort) where you move around a lot but also require plenty of empty space to avoid bumping into anything or anyone else.

Yeah I know… That’s why I added the vid. I was in wide open space and it didn’t work. It’s hasn’t worked since the last update… Much to my suprise (cough, cough)…lol

Thanks… I have no idea why it not working anymore for me. I’m not in narrow corridors or anything to stop the animation.
Maybe go to your controller settings, turn off the assassinations…save it…then go back and turn them on. I was put into a game the other day and my controller was doing a whole different layout…took the battery out in game, but still didnt go back to my layout. Next game worked fine. Anyways, hope it starts working for u

Regarding yours, this can happen. Simply going to your controller settings and switching off and then on to your button layout (even if it’s right already) will fix it.
As for OP, do the same thing. Try switching assassinations and then switching back to that one.
I’ll give it a try. I don’t get many assassinations so hopefully switching them back and forth will do the trick… thanks.

Every time I assassinate someone I change it for the next game. Pretty cool watching different ones everyday!

I used to do that the first year the game was out. I also enjoyed watching the different styles. When they released Super Nova I laughed my butt off on that one and stuck with it… lol.
Got an assassination yesterday after switching back to Super Nova and it still didn’t work after switching them. Oh well, I don’t get many anyway. It may have been because the guy I assassinated was in the air jumping. I grabbed him by the ankles, slammed him to the ground on his stomach and stabbed him in the back… hahaha. It was still funny.
