Super Fiesta Supper Unsocial

With experience with the players in Halo 5’s Super Fiesta mode in Social Arena something has to be done about the game mode. Reguardless of Search Preference there has been people of the wrong crowds involved in this play list. To prevent the game mode from being taken down a variety of solutions can address it. One being that kills and deaths in this game mode in matchmaking does not count towards the service record. This way people do not abuse the game mode to exploit kills by attempting any form of Misconduct. Two would have to be an algorithm to change how players are matched; so the newer players nor secondary accounts can be used to rack in a high K/D, which would be a attempt to exploit the play list. 3rd there can be a setting to report players who use the Super Feista game mode to report players who abuse the game mode or take it too serious for the game mode in matchmaking to be social.

You should never be allowed to report someone just for doing well in a social playlist.

Uuuh… In my experience, Super Fiesta is probably the most “social” game mode Halo 5 has to offer. And by “Social”, I mean the most fun. The only time it isn’t fun is when you start rolling a string of ones and getting terrible weapons while the other team rolls a string of sixes and gets all the best weapons. So I’m not really sure of your reasons for needing these restrictions.

^ This. Super Fiesta by very nature is the most “social” social playlist in Halo 5. I’ve never personally seen anyone attempt to farm in super fiesta, and highly doubt it happens often due to the random nature of the playlist. I hate to be blunt but reporting someone because they have a different play style than you is an awful idea and a breeding ground for toxicity. Super Fiesta is fine how it is and in my opinion is probably one of the best modes in Halo 5 to date.

Not sure what you’re talking about. The mode itself and matchmaking settings for this mode are fine. And like DoubleGamer008 said, “You should never be allowed to report someone just for doing well in a social playlist.”

Usually I get mad at myself for getting beat, not get mad at 343 or the other team for beating me.

The title is possible but it takes extreme discipline. First you are having a Super Fiesta or amazing party as you will. People are ready to be social. Then you have a Supper also known as Dinner. Also a high potential for being a social event. The fact you pulled off a Super Dinner Party and kept it completely unsocial makes you kind of a unicorn or a Dr. Pepper 1 of 1.

This, I can agree with. In fact I would go further and extend it to all of social.

But I can’t imagine how people taking Super Fiesta too seriously could ruin it for others, anyway. No matter how coordinated and sweaty a team might be, the outcome of the match mostly depends on what everyone spawns with. Basically you’d be reporting them for getting lucky.

343 needs to stop with the lack of polish in their games and separate the ranked and social stats. Players should have ranked, social and warzone stats. But also no you should never report some one just for doing well in super fiesta. It’s fiesta what if they just got lucky with a good string of weapons? Do they deserve to be reported for that? To me it seems some are taking super fiesta a bit to serious if you are trying to report players who happen to do well in a game.

IMO, I think 343 should put ranked in a category of it’s own. It won’t solve the overall problem but at least players won’t be boosting their K/D buy playing games they can smash everyone in.

Disregarding how incoherent that was to read, Super Fiesta is by its very nature random and hardly seems like a consistent way to boost. I don’t see a problem here.
