Does anyone else have the WORST possible luck with weapon spawns in this game mode? People are running around with rockets and incineration cannons, and I spawn 3 times in a row with an SMG and plasma pistol. I admit, I mainly only play this game mode to boost up my weapon commendations since Warzone is a completely unenjoyable sh*tshow, and there aren’t enough variety power weapon spawns in Arena. So not only do I barely even get to use the weapons I need to finish commendations for due to the terrible weighting of weapon spawns, I also get salt poured in my wounds (or where my wounds would be if my body wasn’t being blown up by SPNKrs every 2 seconds) by having to match up against fuel rod cannons, The Answer, etc with my if unitedly inferior plasma pistol.
It really becomes so much less fun when you go into this game mode SPECIFICALLY to use weapons you don’t normally use, and you get stuck with using BRs, SMRs, SMGs, ARs, and other standard weapons. I think the weighting of the spawns needs to be made so that you’re far more likely to spawn with a power weapon than a standard one.
They give us the silliest and most casual playlist ever and we get threads like this. I thought waypoint decided the game was too competitive. I really am having trouble following.

Thank you for your completely unconstructive post. I’m not into this whole “casual” vs competitive crap so this has nothing to do with that. This has to do with treating the game for what it is (a game, a leisure a activity meant to bring enjoyment), and is constructive criticism on how to improve it.

This is a casual game, everyone has the same chances to get power weapons, especially with random weapon spawns there’s no need for balance.
And, his post was constructive, but your response wasnt.
Yeah, it really stinks when you get stuck with a bad combo of weapons. If you can manage to get the jump on someone, you can normally at least go kill for kill against opponents. Even better yet, pick up one of the many weapons on the map where people may have died holding something.
The fun of Super Fiesta is the fact that you can get anything. Sometimes you get two amazing weapons, or just one, or none. It’s all a gamble and that’s what the game mode is all about. It also trains you to learn to use an SMG more strategically when you are not sure what your enemy has.
I get stuck with regular weapons a lot of the time, and it’s kinda’ frustrating, so I agree with you on that front. However, it’s just a game and I play it because it’s relaxing and enjoyable to play, even when you get a few bad weapons at spawn a few times in a row. Don’t take it too seriously, and if you see yourself not having fun, move to another game mode.

Precisely!
While there is nothing wrong with having a competitive perspective (especially since Halo 5 places such a strong emphasis on it), we probably shouldn’t waste too much time and energy dwelling on our respawn weapons when they are entirely dependent upon how lucky you are.
