Sleipnir’s also a horrible one, especially since there’s a uh ‘unfair trick’ that you can easily pull off in it that to my knowledge has never been fixed. Even without that trick I’d be happy if they took it out of rotation because it’s just flat out awful. Nice visuals, horrible gameplay. Control Room’s a hydra’s dream - don’t need to get behind the spawn (which you can do on most maps anyway) when you can just be halfway across the map and lock onto people from spawn and there’s very little they can do about it usually.
The Train one’s a huge gamble. If you can master jumping on the trains then it’s a lot like trick jumps in other Halo games - knowing how to do it gives you a big advantage since you can get to the enemy spawn super quick - on the flip side, the flags can be reset by the trains if you’re unlucky, but can also be pushed all the way to the other side too. On my first game I got hit by a train and it pushed the flag all the way to our capture point - easiest score I’d seen in a long time. It usually ends up resetting them though.
Spartans,
This forum is about NOT wanting HR as part of the Super Fiesta/Super Fiesta Party games.
If you would like to start a new thread about various HR maps, do that, this is not that discussion.
What we are discussion is that the two game types should be separate choices in the Social Arena playlist, not combined.
Please keep on point and start a new thread about which maps you love or hate and why.
Thanks.
Is Hang 'Em High, Damnation, Beaver Creek, Rat Race still in the rotation? I have not played those maps since the merge, and the classics are my favorite to play SF on.
The first thing I would like to say is that I absolutely adore the Halo franchise. I have been playing these games since I was 12 and have spent far too many hours than I care to admit playing these games. However, in the past few months I have been feeling burned out from Super Fiesta Party.
Do not get me wrong, I am one of those people who greatly enjoy objective based games such as Husky Raid, Odd Ball, and Strongholds. Although I believe it is fair to mention that game type generation in Super Fiesta Party is less than optimal.
There seems to be an overwhelming generation of the Husky Raid mode. I play almost every night and I normally have to play four or five husky raid matches before I get to one normal slayer Super Fiesta match. I have even had it once where I played Husky Raid four games in a row on the exact same map (Traverse). This was without backing out and “resetting.”
Now I only play for one or two hours a night because I am a casual player. Therefore, I know my one to two hours of gameplay a night is not a huge sample size, but when this issue has been occuring every single day since December of 2019/January of 2020, it appears as though something is seriously wrong with the game type generation.
Again, I do love objective game modes, I just would like to see a bit more balance between the number of objective games and super fiesta. The sheer number of objective based games has left me feeling burnt out and overwhelmed; especially when it is the same map over and over.
Overall, I love the Super Fiesta Party mode with all of the different game types, it just needs to be a bit more balanced so I am not drowning in Husky Raid.
Thank you
LashedCarrot5 is absolutely correct. Except for her love of Objective games…
How many more people need to post that it is enough already with the forced Husky Raid?
Just make Objective Games a separate choice in the Social Arena. That will make everyone happy.

Dominus, the Greek pantheon like one, Solistace Vista…some of those maps are REALLY weird. And they have a lot of that same issue. IF the enemy spawns with a Gavel or an Answer and they get in close your TOAST. They should check the data on those.
But then you get ones like the Forerunner one where your hanging off the side of a cliff, or good old Meta Raid…a few others. Reclaimed is pretty good. So it about balances out.
Once again, for the people who are having some difficulty grasping the subject and purpose of this post, it is to post objection or support for the overwhelming amount of games we are forced to play in Super Fiesta Party, not to profess your undying love of a certain map, or complain about other maps.
Got it?
If you believe that Husky Raid should be on the Social Arena Playlist menu as a separate choice and Super Fiesta should be restored to it’s original glory, or not, say so.
Are “Pit of Joy” or “Run for Cover” still a thing? Those were fun. Just getting back into Halo to get ready for Halo 6… after 5 years of Destiny so I’m out of the loop.
I like Husky Raid better than Fiesta, which is just an easy way to practice with a bunch of rare weapon types, lone wolf with nothing to accomplish. Which you can also do in Husky Raid if you ignore the flag, so I guess I don’t understand all the complaining. There is a ranked slayer option, just play that if you can’t figure out objective games.

The topic is to split the objective games from the Super Fiesta TEAM GAME. Understand yet?
If WE wanted to play Lone Wolf, we would NOT BE PLAYING SUPER FIESTA which , in case you didn’t notice, is a TEAM game.
Still struggling to grasp it?
As a group, team, pack, school, gaggle or flock, WE want to play as a TEAM in SUPER FIESTA without having to endure, wait, I’ll use small words, without having to play other game types.
If I need to go slower, I can

No need to be so condescending, people are discussing the topic in tangential ways and you’re not in a position to patrol the forums.
You are wrong.
This is a discussion about the overweighting of Husky Raid games in the Super Fiesta Party and the players responding are confirming or denying an agreement to that feeling. We have said that Objective Based game types should be their own Social Arena menu selection and Super Fiesta should be, as it originally was, it’s own stand alone game.
When Canvas White asserted that we were somehow unable to figure out that we could play the other games in lieu of Super Fiesta he was completely missing the point. We want to play team based games and play Super Fiesta (or rather we did) and BTB Super Fiesta, not slayer/lone wolf game types. And Ranked Arena did, for a short while, have a Super Fiesta option and it also included Husky Raid.
Forums become diluted when the topic is ignored and the discussion becomes, as you wrote “tangential”. The purpose of this forum post is to show support for the ultimate restoration of Super Fiesta while still keeping an option for Objective Based games.
You may be familiar with the term “keep on point”.
As I have written before, if someone wants to exercise their right to write, they can certainly create their own forum post picking their topic and other people can share in that discussion.
HALO INFINITE HAS BEEN DELAYED.
This is not bad news, and all of us who truly love HALO will appreciate the game being of the quality that we are sure 343 will turn out.
Now, the real question is, will 343 FINALLY END THE INSUFFERABLE HUSKY RAID PERGATORY and restore Super Fiesta to it’s original fantasticness?
> 2783251376866607;1:
> STILL FORCING US TO PLAY HUSKY RAID !!!
> Why? A real explanation would be helpful.
> Tell us that you have to throw everything together because there isn’t enough interest in any single game type to warrant it having it’s own place in the menu.
> Tell us that you are all so busy trying to work from home and avoid the new CHAZ area of Seattle that there aren’t even any Community Playdates.
> Tell us that it is to force everyone into BTB Super Fiesta.
> Tell us that you all have the new XBOX X Series consoles and are stress testing HALO Infinite and cannot adjust the menus.
> Whatever the reason is, you should know, every time a Husky Raid comes up, I vomit into my HALO 3 Master Chief helmet.
> Please, I’m asking nicely, please put all of the Objective games together and restore Super Fiesta to it’s previous glory.
> Even the people who I play with who liked Husky Raid don’t want to play it anymore, not one of them, not a single one.
> This has long passed the point of being an annoyance. It is now to the point that we don’t want to play anymore.
> I would rather wait a longer period of time between matches for the original, wonderful Super Fiesta than have to suffer through Husky Raid and the nonstop vomit-fest that ensues.
> HELP.
I completely agree. Here is a list of the objective based game modes, ranked.
Husky Raid: 2/10
SF oddball: 1/10
SF strongholds: 4/10
SF speed Flag: -117/10
why is Speed Flag even a thing? There’s no point in playing it, you play it for 30 seconds and the enemy team wins. And there’s no point in playing it if you go for XP or RP. DO NOT WASTE BOOSTS ON SPEED FLAG
Get ready, some knucklehead is going to reply to Minecraft man’s post and tell him how wrong he is, that Husky Raid is the Ultimate in Fun…
They will quote “statistics” and say how “everyone they know” loves Husky Raid.
As I wrote before, and now it is over 10 months that we are being FORCED TO SUFFER THROUGH HR GAMES, there are NO statistics that are meaningful. And to make the suffering worse, go ahead and quit out of a game, then a second, oh, now you are BANNED for NOT WANTING TO PLAY THE MISERABLE HR !!!
MAKE AN OBJECTION BASED PLAYLIST AND PUT ALL OF THE OBJECTION BASED GAMES IN IT and let us play Original Super Fiesta.
No map changes need to be made, the teams can be left at four, or returned to five.
WE DON’T WANT TO BE FORCED TO PLAY HUSKY RAID ANY MORE !!!
I used to love playing husky raid when it was part of action sack, but now it seems like husky raid is all we play. There is too many husky raid games compared to the others.
I believe there should be a stand alone for husky and leave super fiesta what it use to be…5 players… nothing more, nothing less.
