Super-Crazy Theory

Theres an HVT in Campaign, A Kaidon, by the name of Thav 'Sebarim. He’s an Elite wearing Reach-Pattern Ultra Armor. He was also apparently a Leading Commander in the Final Strikes of Reach.

When I look at his armor, I see but one thing. The Ultra Elite from Noble Six’s final stand. The one he kicks away before he gets stabbed. Its a ridiculous theory but the VERY LITTLE INFORMATION lines up with it.

Oh damn I love that. Although, honestly a little sad Chief would have been the one to do it, because he has no knowledge of what happened down there and no appreciation for what it means to take out that HVT. Especially because there is no info saying that Elite took out one of the last spartans on Reach.
But! We do so I guess that’s all that matters.

Its only fitting. Spartan B312 died for Cortana to ‘Reach’ the Chief. It only makes sense Chief finished the fight.

No appreciation? That Elite was responsible for the death of the last defense of Reach; Chief’s entire childhood, his training, his family grew up on Reach. I’d say it’s more than fitting that Chief put him down. The only way it could be more fitting was if Jun did it himself.

No, I just mean he doesn’t have a personal appreciation for that elite taking out Emile as he never met Emile. And I don’t think the dossier said anything about it being responsible for the death of the last defense of Reach. If Chief had that information or had known Emile, THEN he could “finish the fight” and have it be meaningful to him. Like putting his friend to rest or getting revenge for Reach. But as far as he’s concerned, that was just another elite on his hit list. Another elite that contributed to the downfall of Reach. And there are a LOT of those, I’m sure the faces just blend together at this point.

This elite is not the one that killed Emile. Its the one that killed Noble Six.

My bad. I was only skimming.
I suppose there’s really no way of anyone else knowing WHICH Elite killed Six. Or even that an Elite killed him, without going through the rubble of Reach. So I guess it’s an impossible ask.
Still, sort of sad that - even if he was avenged - Chief has no idea that he was even avenging the guy.

Regardless of whether he knows or not, it’s still fitting. Any species that might have even a shred of malice enough to wipe out humanity would earn the wrath of Chief. And if that Elite was responsible for Six’s death, it’s still all the sweeter.

But it’s not all the sweeter to him, which is what I’m saying is sad.

I’m sure Chief would like to know he killed the assassin of a fellow Spartan, but who knows.

I mean he spends the whole campaign hunting one so I’m sure he would. But he has no way of knowing that. To us it may be special but to him it’s just another Elite that needed to die. Kind of hollow is all

You’re right, that’s not much to go off of.

But I don’t care, this is officially my head canon
