SUPER annoying clans in BTB

I know not all clans are like this, but 99% of the clans I face in BTB either A.) hide behind rocks and make the game a paintball match the whole time. B.) make the game super close because the clan is a crappy group and still sucks and they still lose. C.) Pretty much demolish the other team and cause people to quit as soon as people see a full 8 man group.

Now, I know clans like to practice and what not, but for the love of God can we stop making 8 man groups just to stomp people!? It’s no fun at all and those groups I versed aren’t even that great, sometimes they win but most of the times they get in boring formations that make the game really un-enjoyable. (It’s hard to explain but I’m sure you guys know what I mean).

I even know from past gaming experiences on different games that having a full group of people against a pug is no fun and winning a game like that (in my opinion, doesn’t take skill). I once happened to be paired up with a clan of 6 in BTB when we versed a clan of 8 and that was fun because both teams had their own formation and I was just splattering people with the revnant while both teams were playing paintball with their DMR’s :slight_smile: the game was pretty close but I wasn’t pressured to grab anything as if I had a full group trying to snipe my head off (like what happens when a clan verses a random group).

Thing is, if you have a full group or clan, try to get maybe 5-6 people instead of 8 so that way people won’t leave the match before the game even starts for a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Most clans are in gamechat and flaunt about all their kills and about how they’re “specialty” is always a heavy weapon or vehicle. I was in a game with a full clan enemy team and we lost by around 5 (my team was full of randoms). I had a huge positive spread, top rating in the game with a DMR and the second top was the enemy teams MVP, a squeaker whose specialty was a Banshee. Clans are bogus and they aren’t even well founded either. I agree OP.

I can relate to that haha, I do well against clans but it’s just annoying for other players (including a family member of mine who is trying to learn reach). Thing is, a lot of them think they are pros for beating a random group by a few points but it’s obvious they need a clan to win games so it must mean they suck lol

I once stumbled upon a clan in BTB also. there tag was “USMC”. All the same armour pieces, armour colours, and emblems. All they did was wait for the banshee or the sniper to spawn.
