I’m trying to make a murky swamp infection map in forge, and i have the theme/skybox set to overcast, but I want a darker map with no sun, to give it the creepy feel. it’s annoying having to put chroma screens up in the sky to block the sun just to get what i want, but if anyone has any easier ways, i would appreciate it. Thanks
The only way I know of to sort of help your situation is:
- Turn on “Northern Darkness” cloud filter, scale it so it covers where you want it to - Mess with the fog settings to blot out as much light as you can - Turn on “Astro”, “Weathered”, “Aging”, or “Gloom” visual filters (although gloom can be very darkening and may ruin the maps visual appeal) - Turn it to “Sunset” skybox settingAny mixture of those should help some to achieve close to what you desire.
At least until they make an actual “Nighttime” skybox for Alpine.
Also, I would check out this map for some ideas on the murky swamp like theme.

This is the best advice I can offer.
