Summit.. Worst warzone assault map?

If you are the attackers you can easily be spawn trapped and if you manage to break that then you can’t cap the base because of oni scout warthog spam.

Needs fixes asap. Thoughts?

Nah it’s Array… that map is made for farming and the advantages the defending team gets on the initial objective are absurd.

Summit is the worst because of vehicle spawning. Vehicles should simply not be allowed to spawn in the fortress. Either spawn them at the home base or some random spawn near the armory.

Honestly my least favorite is dispatch.
Between it also being easy to spawn camp, easy for people to get on the roof and control the map, and easy for one decent ghost driver to lock down the garage. The other maps aren’t nearly as hindered by one or two vehicles. Also, its feels like the hardest armory to defend.

sure in terms of spawning against a good company, Summit might be the worse but against PUGs, it doesn’t seem to be nearly the same problem for me. A couple good players in a PUG can lock down Dispatch hard.

If there’s one thing I know I about WA, it’s that the team I’m on ALWAYS has the disadvantage. I rarely win WA games, no matter the map.

Yeah I got to agree, I’ve been farmed pretty hard on this map. The spawns for the attackers on Array are crap aswell.

The swawning definitely needs tweaking , and perhaps they should open up the second door in the basement so attackers have more points of entry

The general consensus seems to be that every wa map is unbalanced, although I find Urban to be pretty balanced.

I want to say Summit, but Array was so bad to the point where you can literally stop the Attacking team from spawning. Not like Urban where they spawn and die. I mean they literally don’t spawn.

They’re all bad, but Dispatch is becoming the worst now that they’ve removed Urban. Too many teams figured out how to spawn trap attackers on the hill, so it’s just an exercise in tedium half the time.

Nope, I’m just getting old. I was thinking of Dispatch.

Array can get rough if the defenders trap you down in the trees, but I’ve only seen one team do that successfully without losing the spire.
