I know this is probably unlikely as he might just be here for Hunt the Truth. Sully was the one who gave the task to Giraud of giving the story of Chief to the public. Do you think its possible that Sullivan will make an appearance in the game? He’s in public relations and not in a higher up position like Osman, so he seems like he’s a good guy, not everyone in ONI is a Humans only mindset.
Well unless Sully doesn’t know differently, he was lying to Giraud about the Spartans too. But I don’t think he’ll be in the game, he just doesn’t seem that major of a character.

I guess, he doesn’t seem that important to the overall story. Would make me sad if Sully is a lying agent of ONI as well…
Guys Sully is from the Film “Halo Forward into Dawn”. He is one of the survivors of the attack on corbule (I don’t know if that’s how its spelled) academy. Alongside Cadet Thomas Lasky (Now Captain Lasky, that’s why Lasky was a bit attached to John117) and Orienski (I forget her first name) who was the squad leader. Micheal Sullivan was very advanced in decoding and hacking skills. On his free time at the academy, he hacked and decoded video files from Johns Helmet (He only discovered it wasn’t even a normal marine till just before the academy was attacked). So it is possible that Sully will play a role much like Captain Lasky did in Halo 4. If you haven’t watched the movie, I highly recommend watching it, it will explain a lot. PS, for people with Netflix, the movie is on there.
I, personally, would think it to be cool to hide Sully as maybe an easter egg. Maybe not even sully, Maybe have each of the important Characters from Halo 4:Forward unto dawn hidden in each level, kind of like the talking Grunts that you could find hidden in weird places.

He’s talking about Sully in reference to Hunt the Truth, which was a marketing campaign consisting of audio episodes released on Soundcloud. In the series, Sully works for ONI and gave Benjamin Giraud, a journalist and main character of Season 1, the task of finding out about the story of Chief. Ben ends up finding lots of inconsistencies, so he decides to look around more than ONI wanted.

It’d be cool to see Lasky and Sully reunite. It’d also be cool to see how Chief reacts to sully (that is, if Chief knows about the smear campaign Sully is responsible for).
