At the start of mission 2 if your quick and run slightly to the right into part of the wreckage of the forward unto dawn (The one with Halseys audio log), there is an elite that goes from limping to crawling then he takes a plasma pistol and shoots himself in the head.
I thought I’d share it with those that don’t know because it is pretty funny to watch. 
I actually found that kind of distrubed 
There is another Elite and a Grunt that are crawling along the ground and who just fall down dead also.
That’s pretty metal.

I seriously did not find that Elite
I found the grunt. And I assasinated him before he collapsed on his own.
No rest for the weary >:)
He doesn’t shoot himself…he just collapses due to internal injuries.
The burst of his shields is due to the game engine counting his as alive and the script has him act out the animation and die, hence the popping of his shields.
It’s actually possible to save the dying Grunt if you let a Co-op friend kill you while you’re assassinating the Grunt.
But I haven’t seen any videos of the Elite being saved. I know it’s possible to get to him in time for an assassination…
I found it slightly disturbing.
But funny in a twisted sort of way.
