Hi everyone,enjoying your weekends?
anyway i saw the MM team post about the new competitive playlist
and i would like to note a few things that’s really important.
1-BUNGIE few times said that if a playlist include an objective gametype the average player will leave the playlist and never comeback (please help me find a link)
so you should maybe rethink adding obj to the gametype roster, since i really want the playlist to be permanent.
2-make it 5v5 or 6v6 to accumulate squad slayer playlist which had a good player base back in reach ,also to differentiate it from infinity slayer which is already a 4v4 playlist.
3-unlock and equip all armor mods for the players using Megalo. Honestly almost all armor mods is something we had by default in previous installment. so the players can only choose his primary, secondary and his AA and whatever he choose for his support and tactical package it will be overridden by ALL armor mods.
maybe you can test few of them if they would work will or not like nemesis but definitely include fast track so the players who dont care about the new CSR system can think of the playlist as double XP playlist and it will boom in population.
4-Enhance the use of vehicles as power weapons. if my third point considered it will definitely work duo the wheelman and gunner mods would be equipped for all players by default. just put the vehicle in natural places or maybe make it initial spawn if you afraid of making it too OP.
Discuss. and i really want to see what do fans think about my third point

sadly, these sittings are not very popular. slayer pro got removed and obj playlists are top 5 and beyond after 3 slayer based playlist.
i really love simplex CTF but sadly its not very popular and i really really would like the new playlist to be permanent .
It’s a competitive playlist. It is made to appeal to niche group, said group generally overlaps with those asking for better objective gametypes. This playlist is made with a particular group in mind and the gametypes and settings reflect that.

Simplex CTF isn’t very popular? Simplex CTF gets voted over many of the other gametypes in Forge playlist.
Also, objective playlists are underutilized because they’re one objective type.
Today ~3200 people were WATCHING, not even playing, WATCHING some other guys playing MLG settings for Halo. That says to me that there is at least a reasonable enough chunk of players to justify having a competitive MLG-style playlist. Few of the matches were that competitive and yet it had the population because it was pure tasty old school style Halo.
In a year, that population will sustain the game. The majority of the population will flock to a call of duty, or destiny, or whatever.
