343 support has consistently been closing my tickets for the following issues which I believe are real bugs. And instead tell me to post on the forums, so here I am.
Issue 1: the current crosshairs do not correspond to the cone in which your shots hit the enemy
For example, with the shock rifle, the concentric circle outside of the central dot is visual noise. The design is intended to tell you how long until you can fire again, but a pulse on the central dot is sufficient.
For the battle rifle, the hit area is smaller than the external concentric circle → this leads to a lot of the hit registration inconsistency felt on Infinite. If the exterior of your crosshair is on an enemy, the shot must register.
For most weapons, the UI is lying to users.
The crosshair exterior MUST communicate the exact hit registration cone. Anything else is secondary to this.
** Issue 2: enemy UI outlines must overlay on top of team markers, and markers should always be a different colour from outlines**
The ‘fireteam marker color’ setting does not change anything here for me.
Furthermore, if you’ve marked those enemies to your teammates, your marker will occlude in the same colour as the enemy outlines and labels. The fireteam marker setting does not seem to impact this.
This is extremely unreadable.
