So I’ve had a few ideas lately that I think could benefit Halo and we could hopefully see in the next few updates. Here they are:
-Undersuit customization
So there is a LOT of people who want black undersuits. I do too, but I think it would be even better if we could customize the color of the undersuit instead. (Example: You could have a red undersuit, black primary color, and white secondary color). Maybe even variants of the undersuit similar to armor customization?
-Pregame Lobby
The pregame lobby sucks. In previous Halos it showed you their emblem, full nameplate, gamertag, and service tag. In Halo 5 all we get is emblems. For the pregame lobby it should show the full nameplate of everyone (Including gamertag, emblem, service tag, and maybe even Spartan Company?) and what team they are on.
-Liang Dortmund and ONI decals in Forge
-Auto-save option in Forge
-Armor customization options that will probably never exist
So this is the idea of “decals” for your armor basically. As you may of noticed some armors include little UNSC logos/stamps on the armor. And on the Mark IV Gen1 there is even a Spartan Helmet emblem on the right shoulder plate. Taking this idea, you basically have the option to place these decals on your armor in specific areas (Example: Shoulder plates, helmet, chestplate). There are options that you can choose from a library of decals that would include: Emblem (automatically changes on the armor when you change your emblem), Spartan Company emblem, different UNSC logos, and maybe HCS logos.
-Ghillie suit Armor Mod
For this armor mod your Spartan gets a ghillie suit (Duh). The benefits of this would be that the camoflauge type of the ghillie would change based on the map you’re on (Apex: Woodland, ARC: Desert, Stormbreak: Tundra, etc) and it eliminates the “glare” that enemy Spartans get when you aim at them with a Sniper rifle.
-Add gameplay medals to Warzone Firefight
In Campaign Score Attack you get medals for multikills, grenade kills, headshots, etc. but you don’t in Warzone Firefight, most likely so you can’t farm for medals in Firefight. Personally, I love getting those medals when I’m dominating with a Mantis, so perhaps we can achieve the medals in Firefight, but they don’t go towards our actual multiplayer medal count.
-Option in Audio Settings for Medal voice-overs/announcement in Warzone
-Bring back the Sticky Detonator
-Change boss spawns on Battle of Noctus
These are just a few wild ideas I had come up with, so leave your thoughts or what you think there should be
