Halo Reach
1.) Skins, maybe new visors
2.) Any possible cut armors
3.) Per piece Elite armor customization
4.) Adding the option to have utility and wrist armor on the right and/or left side
Halo CE
1.) Continued gearbox port fixes
Halo 2
1.) Skins & Visors
2.) Ability to use campaign elite armor
3.) Halo 2 Vista fixes
Halo 2: Anniversary
1.) Skins & Visors
2.) Lighting improvements
3.) Halo 4 Spartan, and elite armor if possible
4.) Halo Reach/4 armor effects
Halo 3
1.) Adding all the remaining Halo: Online armor for the spartans and elites
2.) Covenant skins that are in CE and other H3 weapons/vehicles (For example, the banshee has Brutal, but not Ultra, the ghost has Ultra, but not Brutal
3.) Halo Online weapons (would make Fiesta INSANE)
Halo 3: ODST
1.) Ability to use Halo 3 weapon and vehicle skins in ODST
Halo 4
1.) Cut Halo 4 armor (there are the cut Gungir arms and a locus variant in the Xbox 360 game files that have never been seen, the Gungir arms were used for Halo: Online’s COS arms)
2.) Mark VI Gen 2 MOD being added to multiplayer customization
3.) Black Techsuit option
4.) Halo 2: Anniversary armors in Halo 4
Overall suggestions
1.) Fixing forge objects not lining up even with coordinates.
2.) Allow two actions to be bound to the same key (I would love to have both reload binds in Halo 3 the same as it would be more consistent with H2/A and I don’t need to reload seperately)
3.) Show nameplates and names instead of the default emblem/nameplate just saying “Player Found” when matchmaking
4.) Allowing players to host dedicated servers in the customs browser
5.) When proper custom map support comes, allowing custom maps in the browser, and auto downloading them when joining.
6.) Black color option for all games
One more thing I forgot!
You should be able to change the viewmodels for each individual weapon as it being grouped is very restrictive (like how the Brute Shot and rocket launcher are both affected by the Heavy setting even though they have very different view models, are different sizes, and aren’t even held similarly)
I have more I’d like to add.
2A: Performance fixes, the campaign is way too laggy for a 2014 game and is not well optimized
2/2A: Separate the keybinds, viewmodels, and graphical settings, Halo 2 and 2 Anniversary MP are very different games
3: Make it so the secondary color detailing that isn’t on the shoulders be changed by tertiary for the HO elite armor and S8 armor, similar to how it is done with the spartan HO armor
Separate ODST/HVY into two different shoulders as the right shoulder and left shoulder are entirely different
Overall: Add movement snap, and magnets to the Forge games that don’t have them
4: Change skins being applied to how they apply in Halo CE, 3, and 4’s campaign where whatever weapon you’re using will always be your selected skin
Bare minimum for ODST I wanna see is the unused Stealth Elites restored and added to the firefight wave settings, and the unused Spec Ops Grunts restored and added to the nightly boons alongside the Spec Ops Elites.
Bare minimum for Halo 3 I wanna see is the last 2 original H:O maps (Reactor, Skybridge) and the 7 remaining H:O armor sets from the Season 5 update added
Bare minimum for Halo 2 I wanna see is the Silenced SMG added as a usable weapon in the weapon settings
Bare minimum for Halo Reach I wanna see is Elite assassinations against NPC ODST’s restored alongside Drones added fully to the wave settings, as well as the preserve chest armor restored (i’d also like to see both the condemened and preserve DLC sets removed from the legacy toggle restrictions)
Also I would love to be able to disable the decals on the armor in Halo 4 and H2A as many times they are not visually pleasing and can conflict with colors
Unused Stealth Elites and Spec Ops Grunts? I’m intrigued, where does this come from? Master Chief Collection’s Halo 3 or the original?
I’m down for new Elite variants, there definitely should be more. For the Grunts, I don’t know if I’d want them included just for the sake of confusing allied Grunts for enemies, unless they’re hard-coded to not appear in games alongside enemy Covenant or use the Grunt Ultra design from Reach. As cool as they’d be as allies, ease of visual communication would be better. A lot of people have been asking for invisible Elites wearing Assault cosmetics because they’re sleek, but that leads to the same problem as Spec Ops Grunts. Commando might be more appropriate, despite not having a campaign variant like the others.
On that note of allies and enemies, Reach had at one point planned a behavior type called “Schism” that could be enabled or disabled in Firefight, making enemies battle among each other. It’d be nice if this was added to Reach, but especially ODST. People would love both Allied Brutes and Elites, as well as combative ones. I’ve seen some people complain about Floodfight sentinels turning on the Flood, so that would be a nice option for them.
Both from what I understand, they were still in MCC’s files last I heard (as well as the unused Brute Trackers too)
The Spec-Ops Grunts in Halo 3/ODST are just like the H2C Spec-Ops Grunts in that they use the same design as all Halo 3 Grunts, but match the Spec-Ops Elite colouration (oddly enough they actually recieved a figurine based on their in-game design as well, even though they went unused in both 3&ODST). Them being allied would be no more problematic than the Spec-Ops Elites themselves since they would only appear as a nighttime floodfight boon alongside the Spec-Ops Elites,
As for Stealth Elites, I haven’t seen anybody really pushing for them to wear Assault, but I have seen people push for them to use Commando due to how they looked in Reach. honestly though, they’re fine being left as-is since they have a unique coloration not used anywhere else, alongside being the only Elite rank to not wear any shoulder armor at all.
Some of the map segments from Floodgate/Storm/Sierra 117 in H3 have a lot of potential as firefight maps, that would be awesome if they could somehow import them as official maps for the game
