Suggestions from someone who hates 343i

To start, yes I hate 343. They ruined the Halo story imo, but thats not why I’m here. Based on what I’ve seen, they have taken the easy way out on designing the game’s pvp multiplayer. They have outright copy and pasted the “booster” from Cod and titanfall. The do nothing iron-sights serve no purpose other than appeasing the players that they have lost to games like battlefield, cod, titanfall, and a few others, in their own words (paraphrasing here) The sights will not do anything but give you a zoomed view. take them out and do something useful with the controller map space.

The most annoying thing that I noticed while watching gameplay from the Outside Xbox group, was that every single time you did any kind of damage to an enemy player you got the hit marker and the most annoying high pitched blip, squeal, squeak, or what ever the hell it was. The point being, it was a -Yoinking!- annoying sound. I doubt one customer will make any kind of difference in your profit margin, but if I can’t turn off that noise or it isn’t removed outright, without affecting other aspects of the audio, you can bet your -Yoink- that I won’t be playing the game past the beta.

Next, KILL THE -Yoinking!- DIDACT!!! Personally, the worst part of Halo 4’s plot was the INVINCIBLE -Yoinking!- GOD CHARACTER! (And do it early on. He is a plot killing character, at least other games with characters like him typically were, in fact, gods, based on the games story or lore) His presence in the game was beyond ill explained. Yes, the information was there, but to find it one had to read a book that I’d wager not a large portion of the community 1) was even aware existed or 2) cared enough to go read, seeing as other games were available as more interactive media than a book.

In truth this is coming way too late to matter worth a damn, believe me I know, but I had to get this out there and have the slightest chances of being seen/heard whatever.
But let me finish with this, I have no plans to purchase this travesty of a game after the beyond disappointing quality of the MCC launch. The company is owned directly by Microsoft for -Yoink-'s sake. They have no excuse in the world why this -Yoink- isn’t working.

Criticism and feedback is important, but you aren’t going to get anywhere by prefacing your thoughts with such shortsighted and sophomoric statements. The best this post can hope for is some brief traffic from annoyed users, but it’ll be a small miracle if anybody - even the most critically inclined of us - will take it seriously.

So you’re telling them to fix these things even though you still won’t be buying the game. Also you’re wrong about them copy and pasting thrusters. Thruster pack was in Halo before either AW or Titanfall were even announced. it just was toned down for MP

Damn, you really know how to sell your ideas. Future marketing guru right here.

Why do people refuse to understand that thrusters/boosters were NOT taken from COD? Did you ever consider that maybe, its the other way around?

So, the only problem you have with hitmarkers is the sound that they make? Seems legit.

This is what happens when people like you, fail to do their research. Ever heard of a Forerunner? You know, the mysterious alien race that we have been trying to discover, for the last 14 years? Yeah, thats what The Didact is. If you really find it that much of a burden to read books in order to understand the story, a simple wiki search, would more than suffice to clear up any confusion. Thats what i did, when i first played Halo 4’s campaign, and i got along just fine.

As for killing the Didact, you’re a bit late to the party, aren’t you? The dude already got incinerated, he’s not even a physical threat, anymore, as far as we know.

Then why on earth are you here, wasting everybody’s time? Thats a pretty pointless thread you just created, don’t you think?

Why do you think that automatically means the game will be void of any bugs, at launch? The iPhone was bending in peoples’ pockets, despite Apple being technology giants. “B-b-but, they shouldn’t sell such cheap products, its inexcusable”. Well…they still did.

Besides, every game has bugs. In fact, most triple A titles in the recent past, have had bugs; Battlefield, Destiny, AC: Unity…This isn’t new to the industry bud.
