Speaking to anybody, but i really want to reach 343 Industries with this topic.
First of all, Halo Infinite needs to offer a quality soundtrack, not only talking about the tracks but also regarding the direction and the mix in the actual gameplay, just like it was in the first trilogy.
Said this, Halo soundtrack needs a lot of percussions, right? Very tribal percussions, in some kind of ways even rock, just like some tracks from older Halo. We heard some cool drumming in the previuos soundtrack, especially those from Martin O’Donnel. So i was thinking how cool it would be recording some tracks with the drummer Simon Phillips. He played a lot of interesting stuff solo, but also was in Judas Priest, The Who and specially in Toto. How cool he could play the amazing Halo Theme?
Take a look from 5:15 to the end of the video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW2iofQtRIM

We had Steve Vai in Halo 2 Theme right? We had some metal/fusion tracks also, so why not? Also, Simon Phillips with Toto played in another videogame, and it was Dragon Ball: Budokai 2.
I know there was some talking (rumor) about Martin O’Donnell returning in the soundtrack composition, and if it’s the truth then i think it could fit perfectly.
Hoping that 343 will see this. In that case, thank you for considering this
