If a person wants to Admin/Host a game they should “NOT” be subject to being AUTO Kicked from a game for being AFK!
Why? 343i have not give’n the users the ability to have their own dedicated server software! The Admin/Host takes the time to go thru all the settings and to make mods to their maps to run their server!

We also need to be able to “PERMANENTLY BAN” people that use Cheats, Hax, Racists Remarks, Creating Hate and Discontent to others on the server. Not the “WUSSSY” way they do it in Halo MCC. That 24 hour ban in Halo MCC is a JOKE! I wonder who the genius was who though that wa a good idea??
Buddy give it a rest, at this point it’s one long spammy fanfic as if the feature did exist. If the idea was worthwhile at this point in the game’s lifespan, at least one of the 50+ posts would’ve gained some sort of traction by now.
Besides, the core issues with the game need to be fixed before anything like this should be added. You made a post about custom games settings not even working yesterday, being the god king admin of a dedicated server won’t fix this. The ability to host a game of your own network won’t circumvent the problems with coding.
Let’s rally for a functional title first, then we can start with the idealism.
I would say nobody should be auto kicked from a custom game.
Private servers. This is the dream. Maybe a pipe dream, but I’d like dedicated servers at some point too.
You have to power to invite, kick, and block whoever you want in a lobby you are hosting. Until this game gets Private Servers, you can forget about perma banning anyone who joins your lobby.
I’d would start using hacks if I could have my own server to mess around in. 14 V 14 Pelican battles anyone?
Ya I know it sucks big time. I still have 2042 game server and My Halo MCC server.Just wish Halo MCC had the same Admin tools that 2042 has. Kinda sicks donunt
As far as not post about the Custom Games area I will continue to post about it if I FInd issues that need to be fixed. If I don’t post about the specific problems then how in the hell are the Devs going to fix ii if it is not “NOT” known? Maybe post about the issue maybe humm??? Or is that too damn logical
I do and I’ll tell you why. If you are AFK you are not playing the game and your taking up a game slot that somebody else could be playing on. It’s not fair to the your teammates or user’s that want to join the game. That’s why!
In a world where users can look up available custom games, this makes sense. However we don’t have that. Instead we have to find a person who is hosting and send them a message to (maybe) get into the lobby.
Also, if it is a game mode where being AFK is not fair to teammates, than the host should be kicked out for being AFK too. Fair is fair.
