Suggestion reach multiplayer

Hi guys!

Hopefully people from 343 reads this.

I’m a longtime Halo-player, and still going.

Getting online with Reach these days really depress me. Why? Because there’s too much diversification amongst the playlists.

This has the effect there’s too few participants in every playlists with bad quality connections and less fun gameplay as a result.

Why can’t you folks at 343 fix this?

Remove redundant playlists now ffs! We should have like 5-6 at most with a population at it’s current state. Besides why have all these strange matchmodes like “Slayer Pro”?? What’s the point forcing people use one loudout and a DMR only?? There’s a MLG playlist for people who don’t like loadouts ffs. And they can go the Halo:CE playlists as well if they wan’t pure playstyle. Look through all of these crappy matchmodes and gamestyles and boil it down to a handful now!

Also put up a 4 vs 4 pure slayer playlist, with selection for maps only (preferably forge maps only), because this is what 90% of all people playing Reach online want.

My last suggestion is, that if you at 343 have any ideas of saving/investing in the Halo franchise, you should now GIVE AWAY ALL MAPS or at least a big bulk of them (no I won’t save a dime - I bought them all, but I prefer a well living community and multiplayer). Halo will be GONE unless you get more people into the multiplayer. That’s all.

Thanks in advance, and bye!

Remember that Halo matchmaking shines with varity in individual playstyle. With all folks having the same weapon/loadout/tactics in a match makes for DULL gameplay. How did you folks designing Halo forget this??

Also by a “pure slayer” playlist I mean “Team Slayer” of course.

This was my final mess. Bye, and take care you all.

I agree with the amount of playlists. Not to mention, it’s hard to know now when you will be playing TU or vanilla. The current playlist setup is a mess. I’d recommend keeping it simple by breaking it into 3 sections, Vanilla Reach, TU Reach, and Anniversary. In Vanilla you should include Rumble pit, team slayer, team objective, big team battle, multi team, living dead, and grifball. In TU, include basically the same stuff but with TU settings. In Anniversary, the playlists should have only anniv. modes. Otherwise they’re fine as they are.

DLC should become free or atleast have a reduced price. It’s been a while. Anniversary maps should be recommended in TU and vanilla playlists, and maybe actually have a playlist for them. But don’t require them as a lot of people won’t have them yet.
