Weapons! So many weapons! So many variations of DRMs, SMGs, Battle rifles, assault rifles! Kinetic, laser sight, stabilizer jets, POKEY THINGS! These are all fantastic, and I absolutely love the different permutations of the items. But…as it turns out…having so many also creates a rather infuriating issue.
Input lag. Reselecting them EVERY time you go up a req. Sometimes when you click right once, and select your weapons, and hit A, it puts it in the wrong slot! Oh you wanted the kinetic battle rifle and silence assault rifle? OOPS SORRY, I replaced your assault rifle with the kinetic BR! And you have to let it load, when you first open up that deliciously packed load out screen. Don’t you dare try selecting it right off! Oh no, because either it won’t move at all, or go past your item, and you may select the wrong one!
It’d be very nice, if we could have favorites on load outs! That way, when I hit req 4, I don’t have to (for the third/fourth time) spend a few precious seconds to let my screen load with weapons, and then delicately select the right one in fear of it overshooting the selection, and replacing the wrong weapon. Or somehow fix the screen from wasting those precious seconds loading, because I sure don’t have that problem with power weapons!
What do you guys think? Should they implement a favorites? Should it just be a single favorite list, to select two specific weapons that automatically equip themselves when you reach the required req level? Or should they have a favorite list for each following req level?
(CLARIFYING: I am not talking about power weapons. Only load out weapons.)
