Before the new forum design came out with Halo 4’s launch, there was an option to hide a user’s posts.
When the forums were updated, this option vanished, and the ability to view the posts you’ve hidden optionally was gone as well, meaning it just shows as a blank post box.
There are many people on here who’s posts I don’t want to see ever, but I can’t hide them as the hide user’s post option was disabled.
Please bring it back, I know many people would highly appreciate it.
Doesn’t that fragment the discussion for you on certain topics?
If someone’s reply was hidden and someone else commented/replied/referred to it without quoting it things could get a bit confusing couldn’t it?

If someone ever gets their posts hidden by me, then they’ve consistently said something that I have no intention of reading.

Look at my link. That’s what it causes.
The old way, you could hide the posts, but always unhide them to see what they said if you wanted. Now, you can’t do any of that, and threads for me get ruined.

I see, I didn’t realise it hid it but let you see it if you wanted too.
And I realise there’s a bug with it now and I can see why you’d want it fixed.

The userscript thread has a userscript, “Waypoint Tweaks”, that will un-hide these posts for you.
(I remember someone that I recognized once saying that they didn’t want to try their hand at installing any userscripts. It may have been you. If it was, sorry for bugging you about it again.)

Yeah, that was me. Nothing against what you’ve done, I’d just like the maintenance team to fix it instead of community members.
