I have a suggestion for forge. There is never enough anything to make my maps with, not enough budget, blocks ect. So how about we get unlimited forging stuff,or at least let us have a lot more supplies. For example, I wanted more than 2 lights in forge world, but I can only have 2. Also, there should be a flashing blue light.
All of this is impossible to add to Forge World and a new ‘forge world’ map is not likely for Halo: Reach.
The reason you are limited on items is to stop major FPS drops while playing, an example of this is to go on Ridgeline and place ALL the vehicles in one place and blow them up or crush them with a Grid, it will lag and drop to 1FPS, if you could have unlimited budget, this would be the case on a LOT of maps.
Every object placed in forge has to be fully rendered, even if it’s only partially visible.
For example, a block that is partially buried underground.
The budget is there because if the game has to render that many objects at once, it will overload. This is already a problem in custom maps with complex blending of multiple objects.

I do think somethings like lights the limts should be higher on however i do not fell that limts on Rocket lauchers, land mines, etc… should go up any (Because of their lag issule)

Plenty of others have build good maps without modding, while still subject to the current limitations. It just takes practice and an awareness of just how much you have to work with.
I agree that the limits should be raised, but they don’t need to be.
