Suggesting a solution for the rage quitting

Frustrated with the current quitting trend in Halo MCC, i would like to see the matchmaking system for Halo 5 discriminate between players based on their propensity to quit mid-game. Should such a system be put in place, it would allow players to be matched with like minded individuals and make for a more enjoyable gaming experience for everyone.

Or they could just try not matching randoms and try-hards every. single. time. There’s a thought.

How would you detect try hard?

I think he means people who play to win the game? Apparently if you try to win the game and win by a lot you’re a try hard p r I c k. They just need to match people with other players that have the same skill more often, the problem with that is you actually need population and ranks for that to happen.

oh for the love of god a ranked and social system! No offense dude, I’m saying that because this is probably close to the 100th time I’m bringing it up.

There was literally nothing wrong with that system and it was probably the best system for its day. I don’t know why 343 is refusing to do it. There is literally zero downside to Halo 3 style leveling in regards to splitting ranked and social. That and Halo 3s ranking system worked a helluva lot better than the crapshoot that is Halo 5.

You make a good point but the system i suggest would be put on top of the matchmaking not replace it.

I’d rather they just replace it. If Halo 4 and the Halo 5 beta proved anything its that 343 doesn’t care if a full team goes against randoms. There should at the least be certain mandatory and optional search filters.

There should be join in progress for the first two minutes of each game. That way people who quit initially can be replaced without interfereing with competitive gameplay.

The problem is that, on one hand , the first 2 minutes can be extremely important in Halo. On the other, many would leave later in the game when they think there is no coming back…
There will always be quitters. All i ask is not to play with or against them if possible.
