Suggested various changes to Halo 4 AA's

Note: I am well aware the game has gone gold, I am just making some suggestions that could possibly be applied later on in the game’s life or carried on into Halo 5. This is not a rant or hate thread directed at Halo 4, just a few of my own ideas that I think could make H4 even better.

Active camouflage: Ideally AC should be implemented as a powerup again but if it is to stay as an AA I think a few changes are in order. My version of AC is based off of the Arbiter’s camo ability as seen in Halo 2. First off, with my version of AC there are 4-6 sec. of usage time coupled with a 15 sec. cooldown time. Your AC meter will deplete fully when you shoot, are shot, or when there is remaining usage time left. There will also be no radar scrambler feature, thus you will appear as a red dot on enemy motion trackers. Usage time will also be halved when crouching or standing still.

Promethean Vision: As I have said before, I think all that is needed to make PV work perfectly in my eyes is to reduce it’s range to that of the motion tracker. I believe this change would allow PV to function as intended, an enhanced motion tracker and anti-camping tool.

Jetpack: I believe the jetpack would function best if it were to be nerfed to essentially a vertical thruster-pack. In other words, a one shot vertical burst up to maybe the height of the H3 gravlift that shoots you into third-person while being used rendering you unable to shoot. Invisible walls could also be implemented into various maps if the same exploits that occur in Reach were to ever surface again, though I think this is unlikely due to the changes.

Sprint: Even though I think sprint has been implemented much better in H4 and seems to work well, I still think removing the ability to sprint while your shields are down would make it work perfectly.

Armor mods: Dexterity, Shielding, and the Explosives are the mods I take issue with. I would rather these upgrades not be in the game or be default.

Binary Rifle: I feel that this weapon needs to be the hardest weapon in the game to use to balance it’s power. To achieve this I would give the weapon a simple dot as a reticle, and reduce the overall aim assist and bullet magnetism substantially.

I could go into some of my ideas regarding loadout weapons but I think the above subjects are more important. Please discuss as I would like to hear your opinions regarding my suggested changes as well as your own changes.

No I haven’t played the game yet, I am just making some suggestions based on my observation of the game thus far. Whether my changes would work or not is up in the air, that is true but please don’t discredit my opinion simply because of that. I’m just brainstorming here.
