Active camouflage: This is a very annoying ability and one that should have remained a power-up, but if it is to stay as an AA, I have a few suggestions to make it more bearable. One change that I would implement would be to have your shields deplete while in use. The usage meter would also deplete twice as fast when crouching in order to discourage camping.
Hardlight shield: The only change I would make would be to allow melees to pass the shield and possibly reduce it’s usage time.
Regeneration field: I would only allow this AA to heal your teammates rather than yourself. I think this change would make it a true team-based ability.
Promethean vision: Reduce it’s range if need be.
Jetpack: I would make it a vertical thruster pack or reduce it’s usage time.
Sprint: I would remove the ability to sprint when your shields are down.
I also have a few ideas regarding world ordinance. The way I imagined this would work, was that there would be 2 to 3 different locations for each power weapon to spawn in, in a sequential order. In other words each power weapon would spawn in area ‘a’ first, then ‘b’ second, and finally ‘c’ last before repeating the process all over again. Each location though, should be relatively balanced as to give each team an equal chance at each power weapon as they spawn in their changing locations throughout the match.
Your thread doesnt seem to be a way to improve them, it just seems like an all out nerf to hell.
Here’s some improvements…
Camo - Crouching still causes dots everywhere on radar, and you cant invis charge a weapon (boltshot)
Thruster - Two charges rather than one, or 120% the distance also stay in 1st person
Jet Pack - Nothing really, it’s rather short as is, and it makes you stick out of any battle like a sore thumb.
Hardlight shield - Shield’s recharge, but at 50% normal recharge rate
Promee - Shorter distance seems good
Regen - Keep same, get rid of the double regen glitch though
Sentry - Make it’s fire rate 50% quicker, or damage increase by 10-15%
Hologram - Thoroughly add much more use, like AA button + left on dpad makes it turn left, etc

Nerfing armor abilities isn’t a bad idea in my mind as I think that being given them off spawn means that they should complement gameplay rather disrupt it and become the main focus and annoyance of a game. Active camo to me fits this description.

It doesn’t look like that is going to happen.
I’ll give it a go, hopefully I don’t get flamed. Keep in-mind a lot of these ideas more than likely sound better in my head and not in-game.
Thruster Pack: More control, simply put. Holding the AA button could/would allow you to thrust for a longer or shorter distance, also holding the joystick in a certain direction to alter it’s direction.
Auto-sentry: More damage, either increased damage or increased rate of fire.
Regeneration field: I’d like to see this keep bullets out. Not anything too big like rockets or other ordnance. Just bullets, lightrifle, DMR,BR, etc,etc. As it is now, very few people will even take the time to go into it.
Jetpack: I think this is absolutely 100% fine. There’s nothing I’d like to see done to boost or reduce it’s function. It does what it’s intended to do.
Promethean Vision: Reduce range a bit, but I’d also like to see an option to either alter, or disable the changes made to coloring when you use promethean vision.
Active Camouflage: remove the yellow aura from your shields regenerating while you’re camouflaged. I’d also like to see some kind of mechanic that unstealths you from Active Camouflage if you stay in the same spot for too long with it active. Nothing too major.
