Some of the name’s of certain Weapon’s/Mode’s so far are kind of bland in my opinion. Like “Spartan Op’s” “Scattershot” “Storm Rifle” some of these name’s just don’t fit the creative name’s of the Halo trilogy.
So I ask you guy’s if you could rename some of the new Weapon’s/Mode’s what would it be?
Here’s some of mine.
Light Rifle: Ethereal Rifle
Scattershot: Shattershot
Storm Rifle: Plasma Carbine

I would prefer a more colorful name than “Spartan Ops” though. Then again, I’ll probably just warm to it.

Yes, Spartan Ops just doesn’t fit well in the Halo saga IMO.

On topic: The names are fine. They’re futuristic science fiction military names, not fantasy names.
It is the same, just like the Battle Rifle, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle and Beam Rifle were. I don’t see why we would need more creative names in this trilogy.

Actually, in the Spartan Ops mission we saw (the one with the lava) the team are called Crimson Team.

I’m not really bothered by the name “Spartan Ops”. Although I think it would sound better if it was just called “Operations”.
I wish 343i would of changed Spartan Ops to something more creative…like Infinity Ops, something like that.
