My husband got me into playing Halo 5 and I have found that I only really enjoy playing Team Arena. I’ve played pretty much non-stop in my free time for the past few days. Today, on my lunch break I hopped on and tried to play and got the unable to match error. I figured it was just because of the time. But now, I’m unable to get any matches even though it’s 7:30pm in my time zone (Central time), there should be plenty of people online by now, right? I can play SWAT but I really don’t like to play it all that much and really want to play Team Arena but I tried for a game for 15-20 minutes before giving up. I even tried setting my search mode to expanded and I still couldn’t find one.
Is it just that I’m new (and therefore am not very good yet) and there aren’t any other low ranked people for me to play against? Or is there something going on with the Halo 5 servers?
I am having this same problem. I can get into Warzone or Big Team Battle but I am not able to play any ranked Arena games. It just times out over and over saying there may not be enough players. My Rep is fine. I have it set to Expanded. I am on the East Coast of the U.S.A. so that should not be a problem. If I play with friends we can usually get into a game but lately everyone has been too busy. I try different Arena playlists for hours but never connect to a game. I only recently started playing the game so I am only Bronze. Are there not enough Bronze players in the world to match with? I feel like I have finally gotten better with my aim and my gameplay, but if I can’t get into any matches I won’t ever be able to get out of Bronze!

That’s what’s worrying me. I’m also bronze and it’s infuriating to not be able to find a match. I’ve read that people on a team get matched faster but I’m not sure if that’s still true because it was a thread from months ago.
You are not the only one. It has been happening more since the last update. It used to happen to me early in the morning EST, but now it is happening at any time of day. It seem to happen more on SWAT for me.
I have the same issue to some degree. I love to play swat but I can’t ever get onto the server. I don’t play with many friends because I am very sporadic on the times I get to play. I have issues playing other modes as well, some days I can play one and the next I can’t. really sucks as I love to play Halo 5 and my daughter loves to watch me play as well. I hope there is a fix soon…
