Hello my friends. My MCC experience has been sub par like everyone else’s, but suddenly, the game is now crashing within 2-3 minutes after startup
When I say crash, I actually mean freeze, but you get the point. Before, the game rarely froze, but now it’s like an intended gameplay mechanic.
The frequent freezes started sometime between 7:00-14:00 EST, 11/17/14.
If anyone else has suddenly been experiencing frequent crashes, please share.

It’s crashed for me a couple times during loading screens, start ups, and connecting to parties from the roster. But the most significant crash has been on startup. Here’s a video below where I start up MCC from the Xbox dashboard and immediately after I press the start menu button to launch MCC it crashes back to the Xbox dashboard.

The weird thing is that it was working fine for the last few days, but now, after a long day at school, it’s suddenly deciding to crash again and again. Full shutdown? Nothing. Different profile? Frozen. I feel like there was some super secret update designed to specifically screw me over.

Power cycle your Xbox One, router and modem.
Unplug everything for 2 minutes and plug it back in.
If you know how try resetting your router to default settings too.
Worked for me. Halo runs like a million bugs! =)
crashed o nme earlier tonight during halo2 campaign and because the game doesn
t save checkpoints I had to do the whole mission over.
I’m reinstalling the collection today while I’m at school. If it isn’t resolved with a reinstall, I’ll lose hope in this game and start thinking about a digital refund. Because it’s basically unplayable at this point, and I’m losing my patience. Yes, I know that there’s a patch this week, but I simply don’t trust 343 anymore.

It’s still “playable.”
Well, lucky me, the reinstall has resolved the problem. For now, at least. I’ll post an update should the problem come back.
