The OP JR issue is the common concern for this game. But, since there’s not mention of that changing (from any developers?), can we get some tips/tricks/strats for what you’ve done to successfully counter the JR rush. Specifically against Kinsano, of course.

The only thing I’ve seen work is mirroring.
- Have units (more than 3 marines) - Anti-vehicle turrets (or just multiple turrets) - Purchase leader powers that can be used defensively instead of a bunch of passives early. Even mines are good to set up at a bottleneck near your base so that they all blow up as they ride in.

Drone gives JR’s true sight so mines will be shot down before they approach them.

Good point. I just remember one time I had 3 rows set up at a choke and the enemy drove through like 9 mines and destroyed almost all of his Jackrabbits.
Don’t play anders very often but doesn’t her first leader power give turrets shields and if you are unsc 2 kodiaks placed correctly with turrets do work to Jr but that only works if they take longer than 3 mins to get to your base

Unfortunately, the only reliable counter to JR spam is to JR spam yourself. Choppers + engineers CAN work, but will often lose due to a speed disadvantage still allowing for the rabbits running around the map and harrass minibases. They need to be fixed. High level players (top 50 champions usually) know how to JR rush effectively, and it’s almost impossible to push through.
