How do you get kills with them?
Or are they purely for area denial, or is their intended function to give you at least some damage on a target before they escape the sphere of death?

They’re my primary grenades, and this is how they work:
I love the grenade, and it’s my favorite. Lots of variety and advantages. Just gotta use it right, in the right situations.
> 3) If the grenade activates on top of a player, it kills them
As in direct stick will kill? No need to damage their shields before hand or afterwards and that they can not escape it or escape the sphere in time?
Because I’ve had Pulse Grenades bounce of Knights in the Campaign and they just activate after they land and the Knight hops out of the sphere.
They are garbage in campaign, IMO. But AWESOME in Objective type gameplay in MM.
The only times I can seem to get kills with them is when I’m close enough to the enemy to melee but I know I’m about to die, so I throw a plasma instead of hitting melee. If you respawn quick enough before the plasma explodes you usually get a hail mary
