Subtle but Awesome Change

So after a successful weekend of play on the H5 beta, I tried my hand at the Championship series on MCC. I got my -Yoink- kicked. I was a bit stumped. Obviously the players were better, but I felt like I wasn’t landing shots like I was in the Beta (or any of the other shooters I play for that matter). I looked back at my clips and made quite the discovery: Halo 5 has shifted the reticle to the actual center of the screen. This is a break from the previous games, which seem to have the aimer closer to the bottom. I’ve always liked Halo, but I never felt as strong at it as other games until the beta and I think this is why. I’m curious what more dedicated and skilled players make of this change, because while it’s a positive change for me, it might mess with their mojo.

This was how it was in ce, nobody I know has a problem with it.

Well, considering 343 have MLG gamers working for them, I’m sure they are all for it!

From what you guys are saying, this shift doesn’t sound like something that fans will protest against. Pretty encouraging.

I don’t even realise when switching between CE which has it in the centre, to the later games. So I doubt it’s really a problem. Your shots not registering is a problem with H2A though.
