Will we ever get Subtitles during the games, like Halo reach, CE, 2, 3, outside of cutscenes? I am Hard of Hearing and it gets difficult to understand what the characters are saying in the games which gets frustrating sometimes.
I had always assumed the subtitles were included at all times if that feature was selected. Sorry to hear you’ve been missing out on that, if that’s the case. I can’t provide a helpful answer to you, but if it isn’t included already, perhaps a closed captioning system could be added (no idea what all that would take to implement, but just a thought).
Unfortunately, there is no subtitles outside of cutscenes, however, maybe they will add something like ‘Narrator’ into Halo MCC on PC
If I recall, the original games were like that, not sure why it’s any different now. I could be wrong though.

Sorry to hear that, but I believe that 343 will inevitably change that on the MCC as they did put subtitles outside of cutscenes on 4 and 5, so let’s hope they do for consistency.
