Subtitles/Captions for all Waypoint Videos?

Hey there! Mostly deaf guy here.

First off, many congratz to 343i for releasing such a breathtaking game. The story was beautiful in every aspect, Spartan Ops is a fun new approach on Firefight, and War Games is really impressive. Not to mention that 343i promised weekly updates? Hell yes.

Anyways. I’d really like to ask that subtitles be made mandatory for all major Waypoint videos. I’ve noticed that the new video players have options, but nothing can be altered other than volume. They even have a subtitle button which was cute until I couldn’t do anything with it. It’s a bit annoying, since I still can’t watch the Spartan Ops trailers or the Forge with Pete the Duck videos.

If 343i can’t provide them, could someone else, at least?

I’m also deaf and I’d also like to add to this request. It would be great if 343i or anyone else handling the Halo Waypoint to include subtitles.

there’s an option for it on here, but it’s un-clickable which is a shame. Also a shame they don’t think of deaf gamers

You’re right, the option exists, just can’t do anything with it. I wouldn’t say that 343i didn’t think of deaf gamers - if that was the case, then the game itself wouldn’t have subtitles at all.

I’m not deaf but I think they should add this feature and I like to watch with subtitles.
