Subsist || Please Read all of OP
Subsist is a roleplay, which is more serious than the Halo Pub and is meant to last. You roleplay as your fictional character. But unlike most roleplays you are a civilian who had a job and family. The old timers (from the Pub) have a slight advantage. They are all Cops, and they start with a Pistol (Halo 3: ODST pistol) and strength. They can probably take on an elite and win. This a different universe and characters do not carry over from the Pub.
Here is the list of Golden Oldies who are cops:

  1. Show that your character is doing something by putting an * before and after. For example:

  1. When your character is speaking be sure to add speech marks (") before and after. For Example:

“That Was Flip-Yap!!!”

  1. To speak as your real self, as you would normally, use square brackets [normal me], normal brackets () can be used as they would be normally.

  2. Please refrain from insulting each other as the moderators don’t like that. This upsets me too

  3. Spamming is dangerous for both your and our mental health, please don’t do it.

  4. The Halo Waypoint Forum Rules, its common sense.

  5. Please read the page and/or previous page before posting to try and keep up to date and make sense

  6. You cannot control other people.

  7. All events must stay in the town described below, unless a certain event happens :wink:

  8. All major events can only happen when I say they can. I am usually on after everyone else. Timezones :confused:

  9. You cannot be a Spartan, the strongest you can be is a cop… For Now

What you need to know so far:

Several People have found themselves unconscious in the small city, New Canberra. There is no other signs of life.

You Discover the city is in a Dome

A small Covenant ship has crashed into the Famed “New Canberra Shipyard”. That shipyard is owned and domed by ONI.

Background:
A Covenant invasion has taken place on your Planet, everywhere is Destroyed but your hometown “New Canberra”. You also realise your friends and family have disappeared and you are left with a bunch of idiots (the other forumers). The City is big, but not nearly as big as New Mombasa. It’s famed for it’s ONI Shipyard, which currently has electricity but is domed…

What You Start With
As a civilian, you each still have your homes and all the supplies in them. This includes two weeks worth of food and drink, a couch, a TV, a bed, knives etc
All the modern home essentials, but power of course. The Oldies (From the pub) Also start with a bottomless clip Halo 3: ODST pistol.

The People of "New Canberra"

CorruptKnight7 - CorruptKnight (knight) - An AI of ONI, it has personality and is intelligent. If you get on good terms with it, it could save your life. It looks like a 12 yr old and the AI is white. Online

the rookie 545 - Alcatraz Savion (rook) - An ex-Spartan 4, Alcatraz moved to New Canberra is search for a more peaceful lifestyle. Something happened in invasion weakening his superhuman strength. Alive

FourthEchelon17 - Sam Fisher - A Stealthy ex-ONI field agent. He left and moved to the new SWAT force, luckily for him, he was in New Canberra when the attack took place. Alive

goldenfiz - Axel (fiz) - His family have a lot to do with the UNSC, he was going to join before the invasion. Alive

ComicBeast1212 - Comic - Official Comedian, not really Alive

DragonzealotX - Atheric - a 23 year old mechanic who is loyal to the UNSC. Also hate Huragoks (Covenant Engineers) Unconscious

JediNoah25 -Connor Brent AKA Gears - An ex-Spartan-IV, also worked with NCPD. Easily recognized by his hood and cloak. Has a wife and children that made it off planet before the invasion. And also has his helmet from his Spartan armour. Alive

bio:Alcatraz served time as a spartan for the infinity he has no family they were all killed in a covie invasion he is a great grandson of rook from the halo pub If you get on his good side he will help you and finally his home planet was destroyed and afterwords he was transferred to new Canberra the only surviving city on planet his home planet

FourthEchelon17- Sam Fisher [Obviously not my name in reality] - A former ONI field agent who left the agency after becoming disillusioned with its underhanded and dishonest practices. Went into hiding in New Canberra prior to the city’s collapse, currently employed with the SWAT unit of the NCPD. He is skilled with stealth operations, proficient with most human weapons (though severely lacking in experience with Covenant technology) and hand-to-hand combat. Competent as a pilot and driver.
He has a cynical sense of humor and doesn’t always interact well with others. Also tends to prefer to sit on the side and observe in social settings.

[Not sure what kind of events we’re doing, so I’ll wait for CorruptKnight to trigger something before starting.]

Character: Axel
Nickname: Fiz
Bio: Axel was only 7 when his father left New Canberra in 2527 as an engineer to help service MJOLNIR armor for the Spartan-IIs. His mother died in childbirth. Every since he was a kid, his father would tell him grandiose stories about his grandfather, Willy, who volunteered for the second trial of the ORION project after serving time as an ODST, and was involved in Operation: CHARLEMAGNE on ERIDANUS II in 2496. Now, a tall muscular boy of 18, he longs to follow in the footsteps of his family and serve the UNSC in anyway he can, preferably by becoming a Spartan. He is cool and level headed, can see both sides of an argument, and has trained himself rigorously on the training regime his grandfather left to his father before he left for combat a second time. Is outgoing, but thinks deeply and considers himself a sin eater, as he is willing to do what others will not in service of Humanity.

Important Event
You all wake up side by side on the road. You don’t know why you are all sleeper next to each other in the first place. You look around to see New Canberra is mainly unharmed, except for the unfamiliar corpses lying around covered in blue and purple blood. You look in the markets and your home. You have food and water. Not enough to last the week, even for a spartan. And all of you can’t imagine life with out power. That sucks because the covenants blew up the local power source.
Find a source of power, who knows what might happen if you don’t…

“Where am I”
says Alcatraz as he remembers he is a cop

on a nearby pedestal, a white AI appears. It looks and sounds like a young 12 year old boy
it looks around confused
“Where am I?”
It looks around to see several bodies lying on the ground. No pulse but breathing. It also sees a human who appears to think he is in New Mombasa
Hey you there! You with the neural implant, could you get me out this thing?

Character: Atheric
Bio: Atheric is a friendly mechanic who enjoys meeting new people, but doesn’t like Huragoks because he is afraid they are going to steal all of the engineering work. He is 6ft 2in tall, weighs 170lbs, is in pretty good shape, and is 23 years old.
He is currently is unsure about whether or not the UNSC deserves his loyalty, but he feels helping them is in humanity’s best interest due to the Covenant.

Connor regains consciousnesses after having been thrown across the block by an explosion. He only remembers four things: his name, that he used to be a Spartan, a memory of another Spartan in pink armor, and a pub.

(There, problem solved. Also, I’m filling in some of the details of how I got married on the pub RP, so just in case you wanted to read that.)
