stupidly unbalanced mp

Constantly getting put in servers with Americans, I’m in the UK! And therefore getting my -Yoink- kicked because of the latency. So stupid tbh how hard is it to put people in servers in their own regions?!

Not to insult your intelligence but what region is your account/xbox set to? You might also have to open some ports on your modem.

So, may have found the problem. This morning I checked my connection and everything was all good. Everything is all good now speed/nat type/packet loss except there’s an MTU error and it’s only showing an MTU of 510 which appears to be a problem with the last NXOE update according to users on reddit but no idea why it hasn’t affected me until now as that update was a few days ago, funnily enough though I now have an update for the console.

Hopefully it sorts that issue. Still though why am I getting put in servers full of Americans, it doesn’t help a spartans cause

May have sussed it, see other post. But as far as I know it’s set to UK/Europe, console is port forwarded did that ages ago

Super fast fiber doesn’t mean it won’t have problems. You can have a 100 mbit line and still have huge packet loss.

Service provider A gives you a 10 mbit line with no packet loss, good DNS server etc.
Service provider B gives you a 100 mbit line, but doesn’t have as good equipment or servers and gives you packet loss.

A > B

Try using the console on your computer and ping different websites and see if you get any packet loss.

Unfortunately the update didn’t fix it, MTU is still rubbish. I’m playing and it’s a real hit and miss

Sorry to hear that man. Hope you can work it out. No suggestions with what you’ve done other than to contact your service provider to inquire if there is an issue.
