Ok, so I literally went on Halo 5 three times and have joined an ongoing game in multiplayer and I spawned in literally as the game was about to end and I only got two mins of playing. This happened four times already. WTF
I think you should only be put into a JIP if the game is 2 3rds or less complete.
I got put into a Mythic FF game where the players were literally flying away. So I go no play time.
This has happened a few times.

If so, then that only happened to me once. Looks like you are very unlucky with the JIP system.
Sometimes when I’m in a custom match, (this applies to regular warzone and arena matches as well) the game never loads, I get an infinite loading screen. So I have to dash board. Load it up again, rejoin the fireteam, and hope that it will put me through. Sometimes it doesn’t after all that work.
It happens to me all the time Example 1, Example 2, Example 3. I no longer play social because of it.
Yeah its getting worse. A few days ago I had 2 games out of 8 played where I was thrown into a game that had ALREADY FINISHED. I’m not even joking.
This one basically loaded from a lobby straight into another lobby.
JUST managed to see the defeat screen on this one.
Its been at least three weeks since I managed to actually have fun on this game 
I just can’t stand this -Yoink- anyone, everything is breaking. The already awful matching is just getting worse and worse, and getting seriously sick to death of being massacred by people with 5 times my KDA.
Oh and btw, both of those games went down as defeats on my record.

LOL, yeah, this has happened to most of us. Part of the issue is that it is very difficult to tell when a match is going to end. Having experience WZT without JIP, has lead me to further advocate for JIP as 8 v 12 is no fun.
Never understood why they have JIP, it’s broken and causes a lot of screen freezes and people only leave if their team is losing
