I have been playing H5 quite a bit in recent weeks and have discovered that the ban system in arena is completely broken. I have received at least 4 different bans for leaving my own custom games and forge lobbies. Not only that but I will sometimes receive bans when the lobby service fails to connect to a friends fireteam. Normally I would just let this kind of stuff go as just small bugs, yet 4 bans from leaving my own games is nothing but a complete failure on the ban system’s part. I currently am banned for 8 hours because I tried to join a fireteam and it lost connection. Quite a few of my friends are also reporting the same problems.
I hope that if enough people call attention to errors like this 343 will take a look and one day I can leave an offline custom game without getting a ban.
Edit: I understand that there is an official forum on the ban system and it says that the ban system runs a game behind so you will receive the ban notice after the next event, whatever it might be. Yet I have not seen that to be true as the second time I was banned from leaving a custom game it happened to be the third custom game I played in a row. And this last ban was received while sitting in the title screen after I had played 3-4 games online, I had completed all the games without quitting or griefing my team mates. But the rest of my fireteam went on to play infection while I left the fireteam and was in the menu. all of the sudden I get a message saying I was removed from the fireteam after I had already left. Then a few minutes later I get banned.
