Stunned after Being Vehicle Boarded.

Why is this even in the game ???

NO ONE ASKED FOR IT.

NO ONE WANTS IT.

REMOVE IT, INCOMPETANT DEV TEAM.

You have a point, I don’t like having to wait 2 seconds just to move at normal speed.

gets me killed every time.

It has been there since Halo 3?

It’s always been in the game.

Don’t get boarded…its a reasonable penalty if you do otherwise you could just sprint over and re board.

I think that’s the point

It was in Halo 3, and Reach. And you blame 343i for this, and Bungie gets no credit at all for this feature?

I’m fine with not being able to move after hijacked, it prefents from hijacking back. What really pisses me is that you can’t even AIM! It would be much better if you are stunned about moving but you can at least aim and shotting to save yourself.

I think its actually been toned down since Halo 3

Without it, it’d too easy to immediately re-board the vehicle you just got kicked out of. As Nihachi said; “Don’t get boarded”.

exactly. i remember in halo 2 i actually liked being hi-jacked. as soon as my ghost was hijacked i would get out of the vehicle and stick the vehicle… boom i get a free kill.

If there even was a stun in Halo 3 it ws very Brief.

In Halo 4 it’s like 2-3 seconds. I have died every single time Ive been boarded. EVERY.

Being boarded should not be punished by death. You’ll probably die trying to fight the vehicle you were just in anyway, but at least you have a chance.

If they are using it to try and preven you from reboarded that is stupid. They should just disable the board button for you until 5-6 seconds have passed.

The hijack stun in Halo 4 in my opinion is actually a tad weaker than it was in 3 or Reach.

Simple fact is that the hijack stun needs to be there and it needs to be like it is now. In Halo 2 hijacking vehicles was actually considered a poor thing to do since enemies could immediately attack you after being boarded and the hijacker would almost always lose that confrontation.

If you gave people who were hijacked a real fighting chance, the odds are that the person who just lost their vehicle would simply slap a plasma grenade onto the vehicle or quickly charge up a Plasma Pistol shot and disable the vehicle. Both of which are more likely now than in previous Halo games given the fact that plasma grenades and Plasma Pistols can be set as default items.

That’s probably the main reason why they added it for Halo 3. They didn’t think that through when they added it in Halo 2.
