Let’s say Sprint and Jetpack return in Halo 4 and are default player abilities. You have both off spawn and can toggle between which one you want to use.
There should be a counter to Sprint and Jetpack that stops an enemy who is Sprinting or drops a Jetpacking enemy to the ground. It could be a “stun blaster” that is attached to Chiefs left forearm and fired like Spiderman shoots a web.
I can live with the OC-PP having an effect on Jetpacks and Sprinters. “Reality” balances out a lot of things IMO.
Such as choosing to carry a left and right hand, and choosing to dual them too.
If it’s too “powerful” to allow players to carry a backpacked weapon and 2 dual weapons, only allow left and right, no backpack. Meleeing doesn’t drop a weapon, lowering a weapon is needed to toss a 'nade (hold a button to lower)
Though honestly, I think that by having weapons like the Reach PP, PR, Needler, Pistol, etc, it’d be more fun to have them all at 100% AND allow us to carry either 2 backpack weapons OR 1 backpack weapon with up to 2 sidearms.
