Stuck with 2 impossible challenges

I have 2 challenges that are currently bugged. Namely “Jorge would be proud” (kill an enemy with the M247 HMG) and “Chain reaction” (Kill an enemy with a shock chain). I’ve done both multiple times but they’re refusing to trigger for me. I am forced to use 2 challenge swaps because of this issue which is really annoying. I hope this gets fixed soon.

edit: I used a challenge swap on “chain reaction” and guess what happened. It swapped out for a second “Jorge would be proud”

I have seen people say the Cindershot challenge is broken as well and i have the get 3 kills with pulse carbine challenge which is for sure bugged if they dont fix it we wont be able to get the unique weekly unlock because it requires doing all weekly challenges so this sucks.

That’ll be four dollars for the privilege of changing your challenges.

There is a challenge I have to “Kill enemy Spartans by flattening them with the repulsor in pvp” which like, isn’t even a viable weapon? You may aswell say I need to kill someone in Halo 3 by splattering them with a cone. 5 times. Wtf.

Also, another I have is to kill an enemy wraith which, although doable in any other Halo game, due to their btb spawn mechanics I’ve seen exactly one wraith actually spawn in game & it was on my teams side so I drove it… in a 12v12 mode where one of these vehicles spawn in 15+ matches the odds of me getting the kill for that challenge is 1/360, per 15 minute match, a mean time to complete of 90 ingame hours. Wtf.

And ofcourse they charge to switch them out… to something that could be just as broken. This is like lootboxes but for challenges, infact if someone were to argue that’s actually what the challenge swaps are couldn’t they be taken to court?

Honestly we should be given at least 2 free challenge swaps per day since we can’t be more specific in our game search criteria.

*Per week, considering this only affects the weekly challenges, although tbh it would still be a nice login bonus, but otherwise yes. Tbh though that doesn’t solve the problem that many of the challenges you may end up with are functionally or literally impossible, and that they’re charging you to roll the dice to see if you’ll get it replaced with a better one. Unlocking the ultimate challenge is literally a slot machine.

Giving free challenge swaps also completely invalidates lots of levels in the pass that just reward challenge swaps. But like, does that matter? Because they’re dead levels anyway. This whole system is terrible & predatory.

Basically the progression system in this game has massive problems which are manufactured and systemic in its own design, and is actively making the game worse as a result
