I received my invite a few days ago and excitedly installed insider app on the Microsoft Store like the instructions told me. Is it only supposed to be a small download? Anyways whenever I open it I just get stuck on the Halo MCC splash screen. I opened task manager and its using less the 100MB of RAM and 0% cpu. I’ve tried for both the accounts I signed up for and the same thing happens no matter what. I was really excited to start playing since I saw how good it was already at the outpost experience. Anyone else getting this same issue?

If your download was super small and you’re stuck on said screen, you have the wrong build. Should be multiple GBs. Uninstall, and make sure you read over your email again because you may be skipping or doing something wrong. Then attempt the reinstall.
The download size should be 10.77 GB.
You might have to snoop around the Install/Downloads etc. sections of the Microsoft Store in order to get it to download the whole thing - that’s what I did.
Yeah I was super suspicious about the install size. Now I’ve uninstalled it and it won’t reinstall. The Microsoft store just lets me click the install button then says its complete. Can’t open or anything and it just keeps letting me click the button. I’m really disappointed and wish I got invited for a steam test lol. Never had any good experiences with the Microsoft store.

I wish it were that easy. After resetting the store app I was able to download it again but it’s still only 10 MB. I try running it as admin and it gives me this error error - Album on Imgur
The Insider app is a very small app. Did you reset the store or did you actually restart your computer?

I did both. Still stuck at a splash screen when I open Halo: MCC Insider and it still does nothing.
May help to restart from the beginning. Uninstall the Insider app, then install the app and then the flight
