Loaded up the Xbox insider App on console, went to halo Infinite and it’s just stuck on Pending. Buffers for a minute or so then just stops.
Really hope the flight gets extended with all these issues just trying to play it. At this rate won’t even be able to play it all
Quit the Insider Hub, and try again. Or you can wait a bit and see if you have better luck later today.
Yeah, I’m stuck on pending too. Hopefully it’s gets fixed in the morning.
EDIT: I GOT IN!!! It’s kinda BS that because of the pure volume of ppl trying to get in that you literally have to babysit the “Pending” screen to make sure it doesn’t time out until it sends you to the shop to download the damn thing; hopefully it’s fixed soon so everyone can get in.

I am stuck on pending too with 12 people in a party and 5 of them are on Pc bragging so ;(

But seriously, I hope they do extend this for the large group of fans that have been waiting for this for so long to end up, well… here.
I too am stuck on pending then it stops buffering
I had the same issue. Had to reboot my series x twice to download and play.

That might be a good thing to do for the players but people should keep in mind that 343 is not required to do that at all. If they throw it in it will be a welcome form of fan service of course - but they’re not obligated to do so. They found important issues before starting the test and it’s not their fault for having to wait until evening in their time zone. Now people being stuck on pending (heck, even I am) could just be due to the high amount of traffic load on these channels. It’s obvious that a whole heap of players want to get in on the action all at once and considering it’s morning here in Europe there’s a whole new bunch of people trying to access alongside those who are still waiting.
For those who want to wait it out the entire time - make sure that circle next to pending keeps spinning. If it stops you should go back a page and then click on the infinite bit again so the circle returns. Wether that gives you any better chances of getting in quickly or not is something people with knowledge of the matter should adress. Other than that we will just have to wait for a bit. Try again later. You can’t expect them to let everyone crash into the servers at the same time just yet - they’re part of this test after all.

Tbh I do kinda thinks it’s dissapointing but I think they should have braced us for this kind of thing. If they invited so many people then tell us there may be problems getting in (they could have done this and o just didn’t see)
I really do hope that the flight gets either extended for console (seeing as PC is having less of a problem) or just all around extended for the flight to be up. Because it’s just not fair for console not having the ability to play the game. If they didn’t, I think they should have thought about this before hand

I wanted to play too… Until I read we had to join the Xbox Insiders programme, I opted out of the programme a long time ago, too many issues for my liking. It is to be expected I suppose, but I’m not jumping through these hoops just to play a tech test.

This happened with Halo 3. They should have learned and prepared. Yes, this was completely preventable by enlarging the service to allow more than what is present regarding players accessing; same issue back during the H3 Beta. No excuse.
