This is ridiculous I have been stuck on the darn Fallback Hoppers (Fallback Server) for over 4 hours now!!!
And I think “bs angel” is doing a lousy job at being the “Halo Waypoint Community Manager”
Today for example I was playing Spartan Ops trying to hit the XP Limit and out of nowhere I’m SR-1 with Default Armor so I go to the The Halo Bulletin for an Update and theirs nothing there about what happened so then I go to view her “10 Last Posts” and she hasn’t post since Yesterday… In my opinion she isn’t doing a good job at keeping us informed/updated
A community manager should post at least 20 times a day and have at least 50 tweets a day to stay on top of problems and keep people informed. The numbers I gave are really random but she should defiantly be posting every day. That is the whole point of a community manager. To represent the community and the corporation and communicate between the two.
Been the same for me for over 4 hours now. Its a complete joke. No answers anywhere to be found.
If they cant run the Halo servers give them to a company that knows what they are doing

It’s like its a big joke to them (343 Employees) like for example look at the Community Managers gamer tag “bs angel” I now know why the “BS” is there cause there full of it
343i has stated multiple time via Twitter that they are working on it. There are more ways that they get information out than blog posts and this forum.

Not everybofy uses twitter. 343 should post on the forums as this is where most fans are going to fall back to when problems arise

Yes I agree
They never seem to use this form. We sometimes get posts from bs angel I like 343i but not being able to play halo 4 al day is getting annoying. Hope they fix the problem or at least say something about it soon. I want official word they are working on the problem.
I’ve been stuck on the fallback hoppers since 11AM EST on the 26th. It also happened to me during Spartan Ops; the first chapter of ep 4, to be exact. I tweeted @halowaypoint immediately and they gave me the “we’re looking in to it” response.
I sign on near midnight on the 27th and I’m still in the hoppers, whereas none of my buddies are and I can’t join up with them at all…even for co-op campaign. I tried all sorts of crap to resolve the issue on my end. Reset my network, cleared my xbox cache, deleted all the Halo files, deleted and restored my gamertag…and finally, backed up my save files and reformatted my hard drive. These were all possible solutions given in a thread a few weeks ago. Absolutely nothing worked.
I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. With the lack of response from 343i, it feels like we’re just wasting our time.
Just out of curiousity, were any of you maxed at SR70 when this happened on Monday?

I agree there are more ways. BUT HOWEVER, everything in game, as well as microsoft refer you to these forums for information. That being the case, update should be found here first and foremost.
This would be a great example of why a Beta is so important to a game like this.
NO beta, big problems to fix and work out while the community of that game is trying to play what they bought and paid for. And this would include the Xbox Live account as well.
Servers unavailable to connect, is simple unacceptable, to a community of near 150k worth of players that were on when this happen today. This happens way too often and has become too much of the simple answer by 343, We’re looking into it at this time answer we all get.
I don’t use Twitter, this is where I come to find out what is up and going on within the world and community of Halo, just like 343 asked us to when they took over, and in there little Halo Waypoint announcement updates when I and you start up our Halo games.
OP you’re right, BS is what it is…
A beta was definitely needed with a community which has been around for so long. The feedback would have been more than overwhelming to sift through i fear though. But we are still a vocal community providing feedback nonetheless. Its easier to repair something apparently than prepare ahead of time…maybe?
Flagship game for Microsoft, and with the next generation to be debut next year I’ll be keeping it in mind when people say XBL is so much better the PS network, because right not it simply isn’t worth the subscription fee.

They are @replies to people who have complained. They stopped around 15 hours ago.

Hey not sure if I should start a new forum but I have been in the backup server for going on 3 days aswell. I wouldn’t mind if there were people in here to play against, the incoming player screen has people in it but when its about to let me in the voting menu it says restarting search. I play almost every night due to no sleep from nerve damage and use halo to relieve stress regularly. Ive reset my account 8 times reset cache and uploaded the game from the disc and xbox live several times,also tried resetting my router then tried on a different connection altogether and the same thing happened. I’m a sr 130 with nearly 140 days logged and it says I’m sr1 default armor and when I go to change my armor its the same as it used to be but there are stars by everything even the things I’ve already unlocked.when I switch my armor and search again it doesn’t make a difference its still in recruit armor. I have seen one to 6 people on the hopper server but haven’t been able to match up against anyone. I don’t think it’s a connection issue Internet is fine nat set to open. Ports forwarded and every other game I own is working great except halo 4 matchmaking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
