So I’ve run into a pretty massive issue with logging into the Master chief collection. I logged in initially with my other Microsoft account and later decided to go back and try logging in with my old one I used back on the 360. Turns out it needs to be recovered but I don’t have the phone number anymore and don’t have immediate access to my 360 to easily recover the account. But for whatever reason the system refuses to allow me to go back and log in on another account, I’m just stuck on having to put in the code to gain access. There seems to be absolutely no way back and it’s incredibly frustrating because now I essentially cannot play at all. I’ve tried re-downloading and restarting my computer to “reset” it but everything I’ve tried has done nothing. If anyone has any idea what I can do I would seriously appreciate it because at this rate I cannot play at all, for the foreseeable future :\
I have this same issue, it’s really horrible.
Just had this issue too. If you’re on steam then you can go into your steam settings->downloads-> clear download cache, then you can just reboot and it will let you switch to a different account. At least it worked for me.
If anyone gets this issue in future:
Close the app
Navigate to : C:\Users(Your User)\AppData\LocalLow
Delete the MCC folder
Restart the app
