Since a day or two after multiplayer released, I’ve been stuck in ‘offline’ mode and unable to proceed any further. (No this isn’t related to the quick resume bug either)…
I’ve tried all of the following:
Reset router, reset Xbox, done factory restores on both, checked port forwarding, made sure the NAT is open, checked MAC filtering, DNS options, Teredo, reinstalled the game, tried different accounts, tried wired, wireless…I’ve pretty much exhausted all options at this stage.
All other games work fine, but what’s weird, is that the very first time I played Infinite (on a wired connection),. it worked fine. But after that first time, it went on to be stuck in offline. The very first time I tried a wireless connection, it worked fine. But again, after that first time, it died again.
Would really appreciate any advice as I just don’t know what to do anymore, and we’re a month on from the problems starting :\

Im in the same boat but with xbox one.
Have you tried submitting a ticket to the Halo support site?

Hi!
I am exactly in the same situation, i have installed the beta of the multiplayer the day it launched, i was able to play a couple of games and do some customizations, without issue, on my Xbox Series X. I was out of town for the rest of the week, and since then the game has been always offline…
Campaign does load and i can play it, it is synced with my profile and i can continue the same save i have on pc, back and forth. However achievements do not unlock when i play on xbox. I played for a few hours and had none, then i continued on pc where i unlocked about 10 achievements quite instantly…
PC versions work perfectly on the same network, either from Xbox App or Steam.
Both my Xbox One VCR and Series X have the game load to offline mode.
Nothing beside campaign load while in this mode. Not even custom games or tutorial!
NAT is open, multiplayer works fine in all the other games i tested like Forza Horizon 5 or MCC.
I found that unplugging the ethernet before launching Infinite does make a bit more of the game load, i can play custom games and tutorial fine after that. But multiplayer, customization, is always broken.
I also tried to unplug ethernet and connect on my phones shared internet connection, it changed nothing…
I changed my main xbox to the Series X, tried to change my appearance, checked if i was set to offline status inside Xbox App (nope). I also can play from Xcloud, however graphical quality is not good enough for me, and a bit of lag.
I have a support ticket opened, #283364, since november 29th, all i got was we don’t know, check after each new update if there is something new. Last answer was 21 days ago (which doesn’t mean much as they were resting, as they should), so i hope they can triage all the stuff they had added during their vacation and get back to me.
Anyway did anyone find any solution for this? i went through everything i found i think and still no solution yet…
EDIT : i should add that i played all the technical insider builds they sent, all of them worked perfectly fine on my Series X
You have to quit the game. Quick resume is the issue.

Quick resume is not the issue for me, i quit the game completely every time for my tests. There is something on my network that Halo Infinite does not like, i don’t know what.
I made a clip of me showing the ethernet unplugging trick, i could even play a game today online without issue, but i can’t share the link here, no idea why (i may not have enough posts…).
I can upload a clip of the game loading completely (so not quick resume) and going to offline mode if anyone wants…
It appears my issue has been fixed by installing latest update, the game now transition perfectly fine to online status on my side, and all the content that was broken now consistently works, even after closing and launching again the game, without using any tricks.
I’m glad to see this finally!
