Stuck in Map Loading Screen while game starts...

I am new to all these bugs and issues and where the information is posted. I’ve done searches on this particular issue and have had zero luck finding anything but a dumb reddit post on it. Most everything I come up with is related to all the issues back in 2014 when the game was released!

My issue:

When starting multiplayer online games in MCC, I get stuck at the loading screen while everyone else starts the game.

This is extremely frustrating to me because I don’t get to start on an even keel when concerning the opening rush to power weapons and power ups. This effects playlists like Halo CE where the power weapons are on fixed timers with out a match time displayed on the HUD.

I can’t tell if this issue is related to my connection or networking. Any other online games played at my house don’t experience these issues, so I figured I’d ask.

Its probably your connection or the hosts connection. The better your connection the faster you join.

I use to have the same issue about a month ago. I think it does have something to do with the your network connection. I noticed this happened to me frequently while playing on a strict NAT type. Since then we altered the wifi because it was constantly on the fritz and that seemed to fix it.
