Yup same here! A “hard” reset fixes it.
But obviously this is not a real fix.
Same thing happening here. I just have to close out of MCC entirely and go back in. Kind of annoying. I feel like I’ve spent more time navigating menus than actually playing the game.
Yea, hard resetting does not work, 343 have to patch this game again.

I’ve been stuck trying to leave matchmaking for the past 24 hours…I just wanted to see if I could play one simple round while the beta loaded I waited in BTB for half an hour and backed out…now im stuck…now I can’t even play the beta…ya know I’ve been a fan of halo since CE (more than half my life), but this is really killing it for me…I don’t think I’ll be purchasing Halo 5…343 get your -Yoink- together, youre destroying this franchise.
EDIt ive tryed turning off the box, taking the disc out, button mashing…nothing works im stuck here in the main menu unable to do anything
Has this seriously not been fixed yet? What’s the deal guys I’ve been stuck in it as well. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Yesterday I downloaded the game, today it is stuck in “Leaving matchmaking…”, cant’ do anything to use the damn game. Why would they even sell a game that doesn’t work? Is there a fix to be able to play again?
Hey, after taking a two month break from MCC, I find that I am still having this problem too. The only way I know of fixing it is to hard reboot your console. Either hold the on/off button on your console until the light on the power brick changes or just unplug the power brick and wait 30 seconds to plug it back in.
I hope this helps. I’m not sure why this issue hasn’t been addressed. There is no excuse.
Yeah 343 please address this. Great Game and this is the only game breaking problem I’ve encountered.
I have to quit to the main menu after every match (a feat in itself)
