So I load up halo 4, and it comes up with checking download content, I select the save device, and it consistently screws me over. how the hell do I fix this?
Let a friend invite you, take the invite, let your friend start a custom game. Thats how I did it 2 days ago.
This only has started to happen to me and my friends today, so none of use can get on Halo 4 to invite anyone. I just think its a map pass glitch or something

I’m having a similar problem in Reach. It took much longer than usual to check my downloadable content and it froze a number of times while navigating through menus.
Same thing here guys, I just dashboard it and tried again and it worked slightly fast

Servers are probably screwing up. Just went to Reach, and it’s having the same issues.

I’m having the same issue. 343 can’t do anything right.
I just got through it to the main menu. after almost five minutes on the checking downloadable content screen I hit the guide button to dashboard and then hit the guide button a second time to re-check the screen and it went through. so try and hit the guide button twice when you’re stuck on that screen and hopefully that will work for you like it did for me.

It’s the servers. It isn’t only Halo: Gears of War, Fable, amongst others.
Same story with Mass Effect. Can’t find anything official on what’s wrong or if it’s being fixed.
