I’m stuck at the login section of the main menu. Bought the game on steam and once asked to login I entered the valid email and password i remember from my old xbox 360 account from a decade ago. But when asked for 2 factor email or phone authentication I can’t provide the code because all those are outdated. I tried backing out and restarting with a different more recent windows profile i currently use. But it won’t even let me back out.
No changes after restarting game or pc. I went through the windows process to gain access to the account but I might not get access until tomorrow or worst case I won’t get access at all, which makes me fear i will be forever stuck on that login screen. I might try to reinstall but its painfully slow with this internet so I hope to get it fixed another way.
Anyone have suggestion or fixes? I also submitted a ticket on halowaypoint so hopefully there’s someone who’s gonna work on the issue.
